FAQ

The usual asks
Do you take reservations?
Walk in. For groups of six or more, drop us a line at westendelixir@gmail.com and we'll save you the corner. Smaller parties, the bar's almost always open.
What's the dress code?
There isn't one. Come as you are. Most regulars show up in whatever they wore that day.
Can I bring my own cigar?
Yes. Ask at the bar if you want help getting settled in the lounge. Members store their personal stash in lockers along the back wall.
How do I become a member?
Ask Dustin. Membership is limited and works on a quiet handshake. There's no form, no online tier ladder. If it's right, we'll know.
Is West End Elixir Company still open?
Yes. West End Elixir Company is open every night, evenings to close, at 107 S Main Street in Historic Downtown Bryan, TX. The bar opened on Northgate in College Station in 2015 and later moved to Main Street in Downtown Bryan. The current room has been at 107 S Main Street since then. About ten minutes by car from the Texas A&M campus and Kyle Field. Read the full story.
Who owns West End Elixir Company?
Dustin Batson. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a working bartender. Dustin has been voted Best Bartender in Texas and was a finalist at the 2025 Bar Boss National Competition. He's behind the bar at West End Elixir most nights. He also owns and operates Word of Mouth Speakeasy in Downtown Bryan, Citrus and Salt at 121 N Main Street, Vice Downtown Bryan, and Concrete Rodeo. West End Elixir Company is the cocktail and whisky bar with the cigar lounge in that group. More on the owner and the bar.
Do you have to be a member to drink at West End Elixir?
No. West End Elixir Company is open to the public, every night, evenings to close. Walk in, take a stool. Membership is a separate program for regulars who want a personal locker on the back wall for their own bottles and cigars, plus 24-hour access to the lounge. If you're not a member, you can still drink the same hundred cocktails and pour from the same hundred-whisky shelf as everyone else.
