Where can adults drink after an A&M game without the student crowd? Historic Downtown Bryan, about ten minutes and five miles north of the Texas A&M campus and Kyle Field. West End Elixir Co. at 107 S Main Street is the cocktail and whiskey bar with the 21-and-up cigar lounge, and the surrounding Main Street blocks hold several other grown-up rooms within walking distance.
How far is West End Elixir from Kyle Field? About ten minutes and five miles by car. The bar is at 107 S Main Street in Historic Downtown Bryan, far enough from the stadium that the postgame traffic thins out before you park.
Do you take reservations on football weekends? No. The bar is walk-in only for regular service, football weekend or not. For groups of six or more, email westendelixirco@gmail.com and the bar will save the corner.
What time does the bar open on game Saturdays? Friday and Saturday the bar opens at 4 pm and runs to 2 am. Sunday through Wednesday it is 6 pm to midnight, and Thursday 6 pm to 2 am. Open every night, evenings to close.
Is the cigar lounge open after games? The cigar lounge runs on the same schedule as the bar, so it is open on game nights. Entry is 21-and-up and carded at the door. Walk in, ask at the bar, and a bartender will take you through the humidor cabinet.
Is West End Elixir a college bar? No. It is a cocktail and whiskey bar for adults, with about a hundred cocktails, about a hundred whiskies, and a 21-and-up cigar lounge at the back. The room is built for alumni, parents, locals, and date nights, not for student nights out.
