From Northgate
to Main Street.

Ten years of cocktails on Main Street in Historic Downtown Bryan, TX. Owner Dustin Batson, a Marine Corps veteran and a bartender first. The room, the shelf, the humidor, and the long way from a College Station start to 107 S Main Street.

Where we started.

Northgate, 2015

The original West End Elixir Company opened on Northgate in College Station in 2015. A small cocktail bar a short walk from the Texas A&M campus, putting a hundred drinks on the menu and the kind of shelf you'd actually want to drink from. The Northgate years were the start. They taught us what a real cocktail bar near Texas A&M ought to feel like: quiet, not loud; deep, not flashy; built for the drink in your hand, not for the crowd behind you.

After a few years on Northgate, the bar moved. A short stretch in between, operating quietly as Downtown Elixir and Spirits, and then we settled into the room we have now: 107 S Main Street in Historic Downtown Bryan, TX. The original name came back with us. The shelf came with us. The hundred cocktails came with us.

Who's behind the bar.

Dustin Batson

The bar is owned and operated by Dustin Batson, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a working bartender. Dustin has been voted Best Bartender in Texas. In 2025 he was named a finalist at the Bar Boss National Competition. He's behind the stick at the bar most nights, which means if you've got a question about the rye selection, a request for a cocktail that isn't on the menu, or you want to ask about a membership locker, he's the person to ask.

The bar is in Historic Downtown Bryan, TX, about five miles and ten minutes by car from the Texas A&M campus and Kyle Field. A short walk from the LaSalle Hotel and the Queen Theatre. The kind of corner of Main Street where the regulars walk in and the bartender already knows the pour.

The room today.

107 S Main

A hundred cocktails on the menu. A hundred whiskies on the shelf. House-made syrups, fat-washed spirits, an Old Fashioned built one drink at a time. A walk-in humidor at the back of the bar and a dedicated 21-and-up cigar lounge. Members keep their own bottles and cigars in lockers on the back wall. The bar is open every night, evenings to close.

No reservations for regular service. No dress code. No tier ladder for the lockers. The room stays the way it's stayed for ten years: a cocktail and whisky bar in Historic Downtown Bryan, TX, that the regulars come back to. If you found us through a friend, through a Google search for "cigar lounge Bryan TX," or by walking past on a First Friday, welcome. Walk in.

Same owner

Dustin owns and operates a small group of bars in the Bryan and College Station area. Each has its own room and its own approach. West End Elixir Company is the cocktail and whisky bar with the cigar lounge.

Word of Mouth Speakeasy is a discreet cocktail room in Downtown Bryan. Citrus & Salt at 121 N Main Street is the all-agave tequila and mezcal bar, two blocks north of us. Vice Downtown Bryan and Concrete Rodeo round out the portfolio. Each does its own thing. If you've been to one and want to try another, the regulars at any of them can point you to the door.
