West End Elixir is a cocktail and whisky bar with a cigar lounge, on Main Street in Historic Downtown Bryan. The room takes a private night well. Rehearsal dinners the evening before a wedding. Alumni back for a football weekend. A work party that wants a real bar instead of a conference room. A birthday that needs more than a table. A full buyout when you want the place to yourself.

It sits in the middle of downtown, near the LaSalle Hotel and the Queen Theatre, so out-of-town guests can walk over and walk back. The bar holds about a hundred cocktails and about a hundred whiskies, and the cigar lounge is 21-and-up at the back. What the room can hold depends on the night and the setup, so the headcount conversation happens by email.

For groups of six or more, email to save the corner. Send the date and a rough headcount, and we will hold space for the night. Regular service is walk-in, no reservations, but a group of six or more is worth a heads-up so the corner is ready when you arrive.

A hundred cocktails on the menu and a hundred whiskies on the shelf, so a mixed group has somewhere to land. House-made syrups, fat-washed spirits, stirred not shaken. The house Old Fashioned is $14, and the bacon fat-washed Old Fashioned is $14. The whiskey shelf runs across bourbon, rye, Scotch, Irish, and Japanese, with recent additions like Westland and High West.
